A Walking Garden

Role Designer
For ITP - Futuristic Garden
Date September - November 2019
Type Fabrication, Video Design
Gardens are rooted to the ground. Unlike humans, who are constantly on the move, gardens will never know another place other than the plac of their birth Gardens should be freed. They should move. They should see new places. The should interact with different people. This is an experiment. Using ready-made HEXABUGS, I attached to their back surface a small bed with real, natural elements.  I took it out into the wild -- the streets of New York -- and waited to see people’s reactions.
